These magnificent birds are so plentiful on Caiman Ranch that it is easy to forget how rare they are. They are
endangered from loss of habitat. The trees they need for nesting are becoming rare. There is a project
under way here to provide appropriate nesting areas to preserve these gorgeous birds.
