October 2001 in the Pantanal

Even Brazilians are not sure where the Pantanal is. It is in the southwest and covers 18,000 square miles.
The images on this page were shot with a Canon Elph 300 digital, at maximum resolution (2.1 megapixels)
and medium compression. I take all the blame and Carol gets all the credit. She was shooting with film and those
images will be posted on a separate page.
